This Part 3 resource deals with the important events in the development of various communities. Students are supported as they explore the historical significance of various events in four communities using specific criteria. As well, attention is paid to the causes and consequences of these events.. The final inquiry task for this resource asks students to determine which events in a particular community are most significant, and use evidence to support their ideas, as well as to determine the consequences of the event.
