This Canadian Bell Work for Grades 5 and 6 was created for use with Google Slides, and is a digital resource intended for use in a split Grade 5/6 class. This version of my bell work is perfect for distance learning and/or meeting the needs of students with IEP accommodations.
This digital resource provides daily bell work prompts to help get your mornings off to a great start! The resource has been structured so that teachers can share links with students for each month’s bell work, and students then complete their work using assistive technology, such as Chromebooks, computers, or tablets.
This resource contains bell ringers for students to complete each morning as the teacher handles attendance, homework, etc. Tasks are a mix of creative and more academic assignments, with some tasks adapted from provincial tests. There is a set of approximately 22 tasks for each month from September to June, with an extra “Summer” section with additional prompts. Students complete one task each day.
Assignments include work in the areas of grammar, spelling, punctuation, creative writing, arithmetic, geometry, measurement, probability, and measurement, among others.
My original, non-digital version of this same bell work is available in my store. Check it out here: Canadian Bell Work for Grade 5/6
