This Ontario Grade 6 Social Studies: NGOs and More QR Code Posters resource is intended to support students as they learn about the ways in which Canada participates in the global community. Classrooms that are using an inquiry based model to explore Canada’s role in this community will be able to quickly find information about organizations that are involved in specific global issues, as each structure is featured in a full-page format, with a brief description and graphic organizer of the group. As well, a QR code in included on each page, which will lead students using an internet-enabled device to an appropriate website where they may gain further information. (PLEASE NOTE: This resource was updated on September 24, 2017 to ensure that all hyperlinks were working and also to include the full hyperlink address to match the QR code on each page.)
